'Idol' viewers: Is it just me...or does this guy bug you too?

Is it because I cant stand Justin that I cant stand this guy even more??? It's one thing to be inspired by your favorite singer but to emmulate them to the T....to sing, act, dress, fidget..tilt the head...JUST LIKE JT...it just drives me insane....

What also drives me insane is how this evil show hooks me every year...I know I'm better than this....but I just fall victim...for good reason this year...Melinda and LaKeisha are revelations!

the JT emulation will benefit him in the short term and hurt him in the long run.

but otherwise, i don't mind him. he does what he does pretty well.

Totally...it will only hurt him...curious to see what he will do tonight on 'British Invasion 60's night'

I will say he has nice teeth....

that's it though!

Hard to say. I forgive more on Idol than in the real world. This guy is kind of entertaining in his song choices, though last week he was pure shyte.

But is he was just a pop star I'd probably hate him just like justin.

I'd put Jordin up there...she needs to stop with the fluffy Disney-like ballads but she is really young...shes from my hometown of Phoenix, AZ so I have a bit of a soft-spot for her....she's the first Zonie to make it in the Top 12...and she's so beautiful.

But you're right Melinda, Kiki and Stephanie are the greats for sure...Melinda singing 'Home' last week made me a hot mess as it did Paula.

I liked Blake in the beginning, but now he's beginning to bug me a lot.

I am out on Wed nights, so I really don't know the girls, but Lakisha seems like the obvious choice to win it, if it really is all about singing err lol

i get a poser vibe from Stephanie. she's got a good voice, no doubt, but there's no originality to her. she's a copy-cat singer.

They all sing on Tuesdays now. Tonight is 'British Invasion 60's' night and they have some high-profile songwriters from that time..Lulu and someone else rather....

should be interesting song picks...

I'm prediciting lots of Dusty Springfield from the ladies (and gents)..'Son of a Preacher MAn' and 'The Look of Love' are sure to be sung tonight!!!!!

doubt they can get clearnce for the Beatles. hell, the internet jukebox at the local bar has 300,000+ songs to choose from, but no Beatles.

I don't think he's specifically that much like Justin, but he's basically cut from the same cloth. And they have similar looks, which brings the comparison.

that's horrible! They did do Something last season, but that's a different publisher than Lennon-McCartney songs.

That's right Taylor sang 'Something'...I gotta say if Harrison tracks are available to be performed..I fear Blake will get a hold of 'Guitar Gently Weeps' and remix it the way he did 'Keep ME Hanging On' eek

Tonight as I said before should feature plenty Dusty Springfield...maybe some Stones? Petula Clark 'Downtown' is possible....

Let's all hope that Sandaya keeps from singing 'Babba O'Riley' and doing the hula at the same time! eek eek eek eek eek

it's weird how "Downtown" has become so prominent in my life lately. I saw her perform it on PBS twice in the last 2 weeks, plus it's in a commercial right now, and my boyfriend played me Bjork's cover of it.

and now this mention. very weird.
