As a solo artist, his best day barely adds up to that of P's, and P can actually make a living playing. Now, if he's selling out arenas in 2027, 20 years after he was first hot, THEN he'd have earned the right to play high post. that being said, I bought Justified, but not FutureSex. I dig a lot of the songs on the former, but what I've heard from the latter, the album cover's the best thing about it. On the tabloids: “I despise what they do. They create soap operas out of people’s lives. [Cameron and I] had our thing, and it’s over. They edit that stuff like MTV edits reality shows. It’s a spin game, and I choose not to take part in it.” On being considered the New King of Pop: “I tried so hard to be an R&B artist [with first solo album Justified] and it was the pop album of the year, and I was like, ‘F***. That’s the last thing I wanted but I was like, ‘So everyone considers me a pop artist? Well, fuck it. I’m going to do whatever I want to do.” On surviving the boy-band apocalypse and becoming a man: “I could give you a bunch of analogies about why I’m still around that would sound like hippie self-help bullshit. ‘I saw an opportunity and I took it?’ Fuck you. Sure, there’s a lot of luck involved. But on some level I have to believe in my ability. And I’m not apologizing to anyone. I worked fucking hard to get here.” On being used by the Grammys for ratings: “I’m the nice guy who follows through on the things he commits to. But I don’t know if I’ll be going through that sort of thing again. I feel like the Grammys used me for ratings. And look at it-they were up 18 percent.” Cry me a river, Just.

Frankly, I think JC Chasez's solo stuff is worlds better than Justin's - and when he opens his mouth in an interview he sounds more intelligent, too.

if you want to talk about somebody who is a "wanna-be", and a "fake"..here is your guy. oh c'mon this is nothing new, the proof was when he let Janet take the ride for that titty gate thing, the writing was all over the walls. while Janet was chastised and looked down upon, he ate up the oh poor Justin was fooled act. While she stayed away from the grammy's that year, he went and lived it up. so there you have it.
and you never know, Justin probably FUCKS for tracks too. I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

Ok so I am reading all this stuff about Justin.....and I have to admit to taking my 16yr old daughter to his concert last week in Cincinnati...I enjoyed the show somewhat...I do like some of the songs...but I thought the stageshow was a little over the top at times...he "THINKS" he can play instruments...that was scary...but for someone that has only 2 cds there is only so much u can do and certainly we dont need to see Timbaland onstage playing his beats for 1/2 hr while Justin is off stage catching his breath or taking a nap or whatever u do for that long in the middle of a freaking concert when ur supposed to be the star of the show..one other thing that kind of bothered me near the beginning of the show was why he decided to do a shot of tequila onstage...very strage indeed...the next day there was a review in my local paper dissing him about trying to be like Prince one minute then MJ the next.....so no Justin is defintely not the King of Pop or R&B...it was a fun show that is about it
