Toni Braxton is discussing autism

Shes on Larry King w/ Bill Cosby and some other celebs talking about autistic children. You can see the AI highlights on 10 different news shows the rest of the week.

Exactly! Its about time CNN started running important stuff again, im tired of Anna Nicole and Britney, i feel bad for them, but lets get real here. This topic is really distrubing, i feel so bad for Toni and anyone else affected, you can see the fear in Toni's eyes and then joy when she hears about a positive outcome because it gives her hope with her son. The numbers are staggering 1 in 94 boys are affected and its not considered an epidemic? 10 people die from West Nile and were all scared shitless and yet the number 1 in 94 doesnt scare anyone, people wake up to the world already, stop shopping and going to the mall.

In November 2006 I saw Toni live in Las Vegas at the Flamingo casino. She said she had not long before been informed that her son is autistic. She broke down into tears a few times during the show, especially during "I wanna be your baby", which she said was about her son. Awesome show with a lot of emotion, but I felt sorry for her obviously. She continued through though.

It is great to see that she is doing some public speaking on the matter to enhance the awareness. Hopefully she can help others in the same situation.

1 in 150 are diagnosed with this disease in the US. How does this happen?? It's very frightening.

It was a great show and I agree that it's about time CNN got off of all the celeb bullshit and back to topics that actually matter.
