Don't like this much but her duet with Herbie Hancock on a cover of Donnie Hathaway's song is GREAT.

A Song 4 U Never heard it but I'm glad to hear it wasn't destroyed. That song shouldn't be touched by just anyone, it's too perfect... like Al Green's "Simply Beautiful", damn that Queen Latifah! And Al too for guesting

I tried to post this yesterday morning, but the Org wouldn't let me. Let's see if it works now:
Go ahead and call me a hater, but I didn't like it then and I don't like it now. She sounds good, but I don't get any feeling that she understands the song. It's like when little kids "play church." Maybe I'm the only one... "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I thought the same thing.... Sorry, guys. English, as you must have noticed, ain´t my mother tongue. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

It was a good performance I guess, but Christina oversang that song a bit too much for my liking. They should have gotten a real soul singer to cover that song. "And When The Groove Is Dead And Gone, You Know That Love Survives, So We Can Rock Forever" RIP MJ

Like who? like that Charlie Brown kid they got to do Thriller at the World Music Awards and they thought would be a good act to follow Smokey Robinson and Lionel Richie at the Grammys. "I don't need your forgiveness, cos I've been saved by Jesus, so fuck you."

Christina's got a great voice but she overdoes too much and too often. Settle down a bit, Exxy, we'll still love you if you don't holler all the time.
Still, it was interesting to hear her interpretation of this fan-fucking-tastic song. Overall I think she did a good job, though like AlexDeParis said, I get the impression she doesn't really "feel" or "get" what she's singing about. There's more to being a good singer than having a good voice. You've got to have a certain presence onstage, the ability to captivate your audience and make them listen, and most of important of all you've got to be able to convey feeling with your voice believably. If it's a sad song that's being sung, a truly good singer can make you want to break down and cry, not just say, "Gee whiz, those lyrics are kind of a downer." Same applies for happy songs or love songs or angry songs or what have you. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

Slightly o/t: but now that I've finally seen it, I find myself absolutely in love with the video for Candyman. I adore it and the song's Andrews Sisters vibe. "A Watcher scoffs at gravity!"

I agree. The content of the song and the person singing the song don't resonate with me. It makes as much sense as Barry Manilow singing "Say It Loud (I'm Black and I'm Proud)." THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. Like who? Hell, I would have been happy if Prince performed James Brown's "It's a Man's World." If you're going with a female there is Mary J. Blige, since she's known for torch songs. Prince could have done that song justice too, I was hoping either he or MJ would show up and sing a song in tribute to JB because it would only make sense that one of them did it, but oh well.
