Elliott was my fave contestant from Idol last season. He came in 3rd place. (Daughtry was in 4th place). He has a very soulful voice. He is covering Donny Hathaway again. White boy can sing for sure!!!!!

The first four songs are really great, nice R&B type songs with great beats and melodies. Then he threw in a few pop songs but even those are still good for generic pop. Pop is not really my thing, but it still sounds much better than most out there. Love that he finally covered the full version of "A song for you" that he did on idol. So Beautiful!! I heard the full album on AOL and it did not sound as good as the CD (production wise). But once I got it home was really suprised how good it sounded over all. But all in all a wonderful first album. He could really end up hitting big. Worth getting for sure.

I was going to buy it yesterday but it was sold out at the local record spots.

Listening to it now. Very nice.

I dig EY. I wish they would have spent a bit more time on developing the background singing parts.
