Dude By Far my favorite Unplugged is Maxwell's
The shit is timeless, his version of This Womans Work and Closer are off the hook! Plus he has so much fun in the performances. I listen to the disc like once a week! biggrin

Closer, the NIN song? I never had a copy of Maxwell

Yes closer the NIN SONG! at the end he turns the song into a gospel jam in a church bizarre it may sound weird but dude pulls it off, I'll have to send it to ya!
Carpenters bend wood, fletchers bend arrows, wise men fashion themselves.

Well, mine is NOT Jay-Z's Unplugged (backed by The Roots). Perhaps it would be if I ever saw it but I didn't.

So my favorite MTV Unplugged is by Hole from February 1995! love

Courtney sang a cover of Duran Duran's "Hungry Like The Wolf"! omfg

I remember seeing a bootleg CD of that at Tom Tunes (In St. Clair Shores like 12 years ago...not sure if they are open anymore but I've heard no) and damn, wish I would have bought it. It's definately one of those forgotten gems. Nirvana's though, is the most memorable to me.

There was a lot of non-album or rarity stuff performed.

There is another EP of Hole's out there called Ask For It and it has "Drown Soda" on it but it isn't the Unplugged performance which I prefer.

I used to see this one in 1997

but I was kinda "over" Hole at that point and of course now I would have to special order it. Still, it has some of the Unplugged performances like "He Hit Me (And It Felt Like A Kiss)" and "Softer Softest".
