In his book Moonwalker MMichael Jackson explains why he had plastic surgery. According to him he's only had 2 surgeries. I know he had a nosejob and his cheekbones pulled off. WHat reason's did he give for doing that? Anyone know why?

According to him circa 1988, yeah. Nose and chin, no cheekbones.

Always check when he ever opens up about plastic surgery, the number he gives always refers to the number of places he's had it done, not the number of actual procedures.

He said in 95, he is an "Artist" and "One day I might put a red dot right here" and he pointed to his forehead.

I think that barely scratched the surface, I think he has self image problems. It is sad

He is so cool, and so talented, and yet, I'd hate to see what he sees in himself when he looks in the mirror.

I don't blame Michael for having plastic surgery. I blame him for turning white. I think his first surgeon had done a pretty good job. Even though I prefer him without surgery.

With me, at times it is like I view Michael as being 3 different person, and at times, it is hard to believe they are all the same person. Not because of the apperance as much, as just all the stuff. I think the apperance just makes it even tougher to "fully realize" it is the same person.

I don't think he's had any surgery on his cheeks. He's only had surgery on his nose and chin. The fact that his cheek bones look more prominent could be due to weight-loss. Or maybe his face just shaped out as he got older (i.e. he lost his "puppy fat" and got a more prominent figure). Which is a common thing.

He had his nosed changed around 1980. He had his nose changed again, and a cleft put in his chin in 1986. Something fucked up happened to his nose around 2001. He fixed it up sometime in 2004, or maybe it was 2005. So all in all he's had about 4 operations on his face. 2 at the time of Moonwalk, so he wasn't lying then. But in LWMJ, he was obviously lying when he said 2. He had atleast 1 more operation. The one I like to call "the fuck up" that left him looking like he did in 2001 and 2002. Fucking horrible. But he fixed it up in the last couple of years and now he pretty much looks like he did in the late 80s and early 90s. Just an older version.
