I don't have "Touch" so I can't comment on it. smile
I truly can't seperate the songs from The Hardline as I used to listen to that album in its entirety over and over. I truly liked everything on it but it was mainly his voice that was the draw. I can't pick a favorite. For the sake of discussion, I can say that I listened to Dance Little Sister a bit more but I truly liked every song.
Neither Fish Nor Flesh did not sit well in my stereo. I've been telling myself for years that I would go back and pull out the cassette and review it again but I have yet to do so.
To Know Someone Deeply, Billy Don't Fall and Roly Poly were the only ones that got more than minimal attention with me. I think I liked Roly Poly the best.
Symphony or Damn gets a lot of love.
She Kissed Me, Do You Love Me Like You Say You Do, Neon Messiah, Let Her Down Easy, Delicate, Wet Your Lips and Castilion Blue got the most play but its a "Damn" good record.
Well, that's the first four. biggrin
Okay, I know...his first four "solo" albums.
Supermodel Sandwich, Vibrator, SMS w/cheese, If You Go Before Me and Holding On to You were my favorites from that record.
I think I've listened to WildCard more than any of these lately, though. WildCard is a strong CD I own the Joker's Edition but I have all of the songs.
Haven't bought Angels and Vampires...but Cee only wanted the first four, so there they are.

solo? what chu talking bout willis?

So how do "Angels & Vampires" and "Wildcard" fit into all of this?

Do they not hold out when compared to the earlier albums?

I think Wildcard is a brilliant piece of work but it takes a bit of time to come to that conclusion. Its very complete as a CD. I think its the kind of record many artists who are versatile would want to create. He had nothing stopping him from expressing himself. I'd recommend it.

Thanks 4 starting this topic. I went and checked out the LIVE concert from 1995 in London. That was a NICE concert. Thanks 2 the poster of said video's also.

My next question is, where can I buy it?

Are you sure you aren't talking about "Angels and Vampires?" Sorry if I'm wrong but it sounds like you are talking about A and V and not "WildCard."

You can't buy it, it was never released on dvd. It aired on TV and now makes it's way around the world like other bootlegs I guess, but you can download it from youtube. You can also find a concert from his Symphonic Damnation Tour in Italy on there as well as recent performances in Italy.

Yeah he was in a band while he was living in Germany and they released an album which was re-released after Introducing has become such a huge success. It's okay, but I never cared about it much shrug.
With a very special thank you to Tina: Is hammer already absolute, how much some people verändern...ICH hope is never so I will be! And if, then I hope that I would then have wen in my environment who joins me in the A....

1989 - Neither Fish Nor Flesh

1993 - Terence Trent d'Arby's Symphony or Damn

1995 - TTD's Vibrator

These three albums were considered overstock copies in a used CD store, so they were 99 cents canada each!

I would suggest people take advantage of a similar bargain, if your area used cd store is overstocked with these later TTD's.

Easy there tough guy....Since "The Dribbler" was asking about Wildcard and Angels and Vampires, and Wildcard was recorded when Sananda was still dealing with the record companies as opposed to Angels and Vampires which he did independantly on his own and there really was nothing getting in the way of him expressing himself on A & V so I thought maybe that's the cd you were talking about...my bad.

Well... I managed to buy Wild Card! The Jokers' Edition for only 3 dollars. It's the second time I purchase it. The 1st one was on Sananda's website for 13 €uros.

I never realized that "T.I.T.S." stood for "Tension Inside the Sweetness"...I always wondered what T.I.T.S. meant...how did you figure that out because I've never seen it spelled out on the cd booklet (at least not in reference to the song title).

It's part of the lyrics before the music for Frankie & Johnnie kicks in.

it was his radical album. it doesnt have a lot of commercial tracks on it like say potentially Wildcard.

I know, it gets more praise than any other. I don't know what it is. I like most of the songs but it's the one album that never grabbed me as a whole.
