Queen-Princes of the universe I'm not a die hard Queen fan,in fact I only bought their
Greatest Hits in the early 80's and nowadays I only own Greatest Hits1&2. And of course a lot of other songs on self-compiled cd's. However,I have no problem admitting they we're one of the greatest and best rock bands of our time and every member was a talented musician/singer.I never liked their 80's pop songs(Radio gaga, I want to break free) but that's personal taste! Others that I like(Heaven for everyone,These are the days,Breakthru) are hated by a lot of others I just re-discoverd this song from the Kind of magic album and it was part of the Highlander soundtrack. I really love Princes of the universe,it rocks, the sound is solid and it is SO Queen(the harmonies,Freddie's voice is great,May's guitar is all over the song). One Vision is also a great track, seems like the blueprint for Princes... Anyone thoughts?? [Edited 3/16/07 4:28am] Love4oneanother

I like "Day at the Races" as well - Teo Torriate could have been a single, to my ears. Was listening to "Sheer Heart Attack" last night as it happens - I love the Lap of The Gods tunes on it. Quality

I would add 'Innuendo' to that list, with honourable mentions for 'A Day At the Races', 'The Miracle' and 'Made In Heaven'.

Have you heard the Live at Wembley version? It's different, but very powerful live.

Queen is my all time favorite band. One thing I love about Freddie Mercury's vocals is that when you sing their songs you feel like the most powerful being on the planet, standing up there on a mountaintop, wind blowing through your hair. They just had so much power. Plus I loved Highlander too and the song made the movie that much more interesting.
I loved Innuendo too, but because I got right around the time that Freddie died, I mostly would cry a lot when I listened to it. LQ

Queen is one my favorite favorite bands...I have all of their CD's/Albums!! (Well, up until the 'Day at the Races' album). Sheer Heart Attack is my favorite one so far! So underrated here in the states, and I don't understand why?
