Yeah,it's ridiculous isn't it? Many of today's R&B and hip-hop songs are basically created from using a sample of another song that uses a sample,lol.This would almost be hilarious,but it's so pathetic.

Sometimes,I will hear a new song and think "This isn't bad...I like it",only to find out that it's based on a sample.A prime example is John Legend's "Save Room".

you know I was just thinking about this the other day. I know somebody has a song that sampled Biggie's song, which also had an Isley Brothers sample in it.

but with Musiq, i don't get sampling the "Buddy" song, I mean I like his song and all, but it sounds exactly like De La Soul's version without rap in it.

Because not only do they not have the talent to play instruments and create their own song, they also don't have the imagination to look for a song to sample that hasn't been sampled before. Today's so-called artists are absolutely worthless.

I think the worst example was Ashanti first song, Running back to you or day without you or some shit like that. There was NOTHING original about that song. It was sample on top of sample on top of sample and so on and so on.

Even I'm not too interested in these songs either. Seems like some sort of short-term memory nostalgia.
