THE POP GROUP

I've discussed them a few years back when I was obsessed with them. But I still like them to this very day and with good reason: Brutally honest and socio-politically charged lyrics and themes set to an anarchistic Punk/stanky-ass Funky groove. One of the most unique and intense bands I've ever heard. It's not a surprise that they only kept it going for about 3 years or so. I mean, how can you keep up that intensity and passion for so long? This was long before Rage Against The Machine. They were creating the riot out of Bristol, U.K. and there was just nothing like them during the Post-Punk era.
