It just sounds like Van's trying to do some Rock vocals or something. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.

I don't hear the resemblance, but I'll say again that "At the End of a Slow Dance" is the best track on that album.

I loove Van Hunt! Can't wait for the new album! I'm hearing it's gonna be ready pretty soon! He put a nice jam session called "0405" on his myspace. and well as some hot mixes of past songs!

OK, so what I did was listen to a Smiths song and afterwards listened to Van Hunt's sexy lil' ditty to compare and contrast. There's still a very big contrast. I don't know what y'all are thinking but Van really doesn't sound like Moz. He just sounds like.....him. Or maybe Lenny Kravitz, I don't know.
But I think I know where you're coming from. I think you were listening to the way Van drags the lines in the song which is something that Moz does. NEW WAVE FOREVER: SLAVE TO THE WAVE FROM THE CRADLE TO THE GRAVE.
