how you gonna own up mj's lipstick use to vitiligo? and i ask that as someone who actually believes the guy has vitiligo. jees... [What Is Vitiligo? Vitiligo (vit-ill-EYE-go) is a pigmentation disorder in which melanocytes (the cells that make pigment) in the skin are destroyed. As a result, white patches appear on the skin in different parts of the body. Similar patches also appear on both the mucous membranes (tissues that line the inside of the mouth and nose), and the retina (inner layer of the eyeball). The hair that grows on areas affected by vitiligo sometimes turns white. The cause of vitiligo is not known, but doctors and researchers have several different theories. There is strong evidence that people with vitiligo inherit a group of three genes that make them susceptible to depigmentation. The most widely accepted view is that the depigmentation occurs because vitiligo is an autoimmune disease—a disease in which a person’s immune system reacts against the body’s own organs or tissues. As such, people’s bodies produce proteins called cytokines that alter their pigment-producing cells and cause these cells to die. Another theory is that melanocytes destroy themselves. Finally, some people have reported that a single event such as sunburn or emotional distress triggered vitiligo; however, these events have not been scientifically proven as causes of vitiligo.[/b][/b] http://www.niams.nih.gov/...tiligo.htm I believe these tissues inside the mouth should include lips as well, shouldn´t it? Can´t you see that line on his lower lip in the picture that I posted? You can see he´s got blotches on his lips even if you watch Bashir´s documentary - that interview from Las Vegas. I do have a picture of him from court where it is visible, but I can´t find it on my PC plus there´s something with my PC, cause I can´t open some programs and it makes it harder for me to look for pictures. I´ll post it when I find it. [Edited 3/15/07 5:14am] "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. I don't mind MJ wearing lipstick, I just don't like his choice of colour. It's either bright pink or fire-truck red. lol. A deeper, darker red, or a pink with a more purple-lish tone to it would be good. Just lay of the bright, bold lipsticks.

Doesn't matter if he had 2 operations or 20 - his nose is totally fucked up looking. He ruined the look of his nose by screwing with it. Who cares how many operations - it still looks like shit.

This is one of the latest photos of Michael Jackson (taken days ago). It shows his face more clearly than any photo I've seen recently. In this photo you can really see what recent changes he has made. His nose is more wider and rounded than a few years ago. His nose is pretty much the same as it was in the 80s (late 80s, Bad era).

The best post in this thread. Like you, I grew up on the J5, but everything changed after BAD. I held on a while longer. Through most of Dangerous actually but it was faltering heavily by HIStory but a combination of the second allegations and the whole Invincible project was just too much. How much can one fan take? With Janet it was more abrupt. I was the biggest fan ever on Saturday, woke up on Sunday and it was over. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off

Not because of the apperance as much, as just all the stuff. I think the apperance just makes it even tougher to "fully realize" it is the same person.
Confused? Here is what I mean.. It is hard for me at times to grasp.. The same kid who was in the Jackson 5 singing was The same guy who was the star of the music video, "You Rock My World" in 2001. Another example would be It is hard for me at times to grasp... The same guy who performed on the Motown 25 and rocked the house with "Billie Jean." was The same guy who performed on the HIStory tour. Maybe...this is not same person....Real Michael is somewhere in space...

The best post in this thread. Like you, I grew up on the J5, but everything changed after BAD. Indeed. I grew up with J5 cartoons, checking out the Jackson family spreads in the old, giant-sized Ebony mags and thinking how cool it all was. Then in the 80s, MJ started showing up to awards shows with Emmanuel Lewis on his lap and getting nose jobs. Then Bad dropped and I couldn't believe how he'd butchered his face and lightened his skin. It's been a slippery slope, a fast decline, since then. [Edited 3/17/07 7:59am]
