heaps of MJ pics

Those pics show that he hasn't changed much. I've got more pics that show he hasn't changed much if people still have doubts.

But you are being a typical fan, you rarely compare him with pictures pre-Thriller, you tend to compare him with the Bad era where he has already gone through drastic change(I am sure those of us who were old enough to remember when Bad came out can tell you how shock we were with the changes in MJ), it's almost like by comparing him with the Bad era you convince yourself that he hasn't change much. And although you put a couple of pics from Thriller in, imo he still looks drastically different from the thriller where he surgery became obvious.

People that look at MJ and say he hasn't changed remind me of people who say, "I don't see color." eek

It doesn't matter how many pics are posted, while Michael may be the same person on the inside, he doesn't look very much like the same person on the outside. Michael from the days of the Jackson Five and early Jacksons era does not look very much like Michael of today. But then people see things differently. Some people think he looks repulsive or sickly. Others think he looks hot.

he was so sexy during the BAD era!!!!

as far as the drastic change went with his appearance, I think that during this era, with his surgery, he looked natural at the most....meaning during this phase, in my opinion, was when he had the most natural looking plastic surgery. The only other major difference was the lighter shade in skin color oh and the chin thing. but when the Dangerous phase entered, he looked completely different. His lips were pinker, his skin was more pale, and his facial structure was completely different.

have you been smoking something? of course he looks different. you mean to tell me that he doesn't look any different from how he looked from his "off the wall" days to now? that is the most laughable comment that i've read off this site in a few years.

Are you kidding ???

He looks totally fucked up, the bad era was the time when it was obvious to people that he had major issues with his appareance. During that time many black people were disappointed with his drastic changes. He was unrecognizable.

Like I said after 1983, everything went wrong.

But that's the problem with hardcore fans, because most of them became fans from the Bad/Dangerous era they see his looks at that time as almost normal and natural, whereas we that remember MJ from the Jacksons days were aghast at how different he looked during the Bad era...To me personally it was during the Bad era Michael stopped looking like Michael.

Well, most of the pictures are from the Thriller era. I would also like to point out what a big difference it makes when you compare pictures from different angles and different facial expression. Check this.
these two are from the same photoshoot.

And of course comparing these two wouldn´t work, because they´re not from the same ancle and with the same facial expresion.

I remember catching hell for having the Bad album partly because the backlast on MJ had begun but mostly because people couldn't get past how different he looked. I tried to defend him but there really wasn't much I could say because I was perplexed by the complexion just as much as they were. The results on that cover were far more than just lighting.

show me the drastic change on these. There´s only different nose and a cleft in a chin. Two things Mike has admitted to.

Of course certain expressions and mannerism will not change, but his overall look has changed. Jermaine looks more like MJ of 25 years ago than MJ himself. If you went into a coma in 1980, remembering how MJ looked then and woke up 10 years later in 1990, you wouldn't recognise Michael, at all, because by 87 MJ looked like a completely different person and it was downhill from then onwards.

I could have sworn Michael had his cheekbones lifted. It said so in an early 80s Michael Jackson special. They used to run those like they ran for Prince. They told his life and how his dad made him go solo. That and after Off The Wall he had his cheekbones taken out.

ANd I KNOW he hasn't done anything to his color. He has a real skin disease Vitilago. But does anyone know the reason he gave for his surgeries.

I don't think he's had any surgery on his cheeks. He's only had surgery on his nose and chin. The fact that his cheek bones look more prominent could be due to weight-loss. Or maybe his face just shaped out as he got older (i.e. he lost his "puppy fat" and got a more prominent figure). Which is a common thing.

He had his nosed changed around 1980. He had his nose changed again, and a cleft put in his chin in 1986. Something fucked up happened to his nose around 2001. He fixed it up sometime in 2004, or maybe it was 2005. So all in all he's had about 4 operations on his face. 2 at the time of Moonwalk, so he wasn't lying then. But in LWMJ, he was obviously lying when he said 2. He had atleast 1 more operation. The one I like to call "the fuck up" that left him looking like he did in 2001 and 2002. Fucking horrible. But he fixed it up in the last couple of years and now he pretty much looks like he did in the late 80s and early 90s. Just an older version.

he has for sure at least 5 nosejobs, wider eyes, thiner upper lip and a cleft in his chin.

These two portrait are not the best to compare, but even not the worst. Notice also the lips. They´re the same. You can see the lack of color on the lower lip due to vitiligo. ´They aren´t really different. They look differently at times according to the way Mike "paints" them back.

shocked Oh. My. God. These pics finally filled in after like 10 minute wait only for me to cast my eyes on that top one. Egads. His face looks so wide in that pic. There are times when I just don’t know what happened to him like the period when his eyes were farther apart than usual. More than make up I think.

Whoever’s got their arm around his shoulder in that second pic has the dirtiest fingernails... ill

No, your's is. I said those pictures show he didn't change much. The pictures date back to the Thriller era. He had a big change between OTW and Thriller and a big change between Thriller and Bad. Since Bad he hasn't changed much. You now what? Fuck this. I've said it all before. Read the thread. I've already started my opinion on what changed his made.
