***In 1973,Stevie wrote and produced an entire album for Michael Jackson. The album was never released, even though a first single was planned ("Buttercup").Years later,in 1982,Stevie gave that song to a singer named Carl Anderson and it appears on his album 'Absence Without Love'.

***In 1983,Stevie apparently completed a new album that was never released, titled 'People Move,Human Plays'.It was given a catalog number (Tamla 6047) and a tentative release date.It was cancelled at the last minute. This would have been his follow-up to 1980's 'Hotter Than July' (a 1982 double-album Greatest Hits set featured four new songs).Looking at the list of unreleased tracks recorded in 1982/83,this is what the album might have looked like:

Stevie Wonder 'People Move,Human Plays' (cancelled album from 1983)

Rise,Everybody
Whatcha Talkin' Bout
It's Growing
Cold World,Warm Girl
Nobody Loves Me
Big Bad and Bold One
What You Don't Know
Broken Glass

***Many of Stevie's hit songs were actually written years earlier.1982's "Ribbon In The Sky" was written in 1969...The 1980 song "All I Do" was written in the 60s...His 1984 hit "I Just Called To Say I Love You" was written in 1976 during sessions for SITKOL.

***Stevie's 1985 hit "Overjoyed" was written in the late 70s and was supposed to appear on the 1979 album 'Journey Through The Secret Life Of Plants',but he felt that it didn't match the rest of the album. He saved it for 1985's 'In Square Circle'.

Wow eek
I would do anything to hear those songs.
Btw, what happened to the 500+ mammuth package of unrelesead songs Stevie released 1 or 2 years ago. Any got it?

On another thread,Silverchild is discussing the cancelled "sequel" to Fullfillingness First Finale.Using songs that were recorded in 1974/75,this is what that album could have looked like:

STEVIE WONDER 'FULFILLINGNESS' SECOND FINALE' (likely release date: Late 1975)

The Future
Sky Blue Afternoon
I've Been Away Too Long
Yea Ya Do
If Your Mama Could See You Now
Livin' Off The Love Of The Land
No News Is Good News
Would I Live For You,Would I Die For You
Lady Prima

hmmm As great as that album could have been,it's probably a good thing that he took his time and worked on SITKOL instead. That album was worth the wait!

I'd rather hear these old unreleased albums than ANYTHING Stevie has done since 1987. Sounds like some good stuff.

It doesn't appear that way looking at just the titles.

That's right, I bought it. I never had his early 60's live album and the remixes/12 inch cuts are all kickass.
