R & B Group Next

Hey Orger's

I'm feeling like we should discuss some recent Minni - Apple acts that have come out. I'm wondering what you guys think of the group - Next.

Especially the stand-out member RL. Any Minni-Apple natives who know about their beginnings and what you think they contributed to the Minni-Apple music scene.

They were pretty low on the radar for a while but I think they tried to represent Minni-Apple R&B for the late 90's as best they could.

Care to share your thoughts on this group.

More great topics to come.

I liked them before they got with G Unit but RL's solo career flopped before it even took off...

I don't believe they are on G-Unit actually. They have signed with Mathhew Knowles music group.

I really thought RL had charm and wrote some okay R&B songs. He wrote that song - Storm (Forcass) by Jamie Foxx on his record.

Andre Cymone commented that he thought they were a pretty good R&B group and they are contributing to Minn-Apple music

RL is a good vocalist but his group sings corny
shit. I would think RL is above that. He did a nice
song with deborah cox and a nice song on the brothers soundtrack but
next is just wack.
Don't laugh at my funk
This funk is a serious joint

nurse

I know this lady who use to manage a hotel and she told me how Next and R.L. were staying there and how their attitudes towards the employees was real jacked-up and how they had all these groupies hanging around. She said that R.L. was real nasty towards everyone. Maybe that's why their careers flopped-their attitudes were terrible and we all know that God don't like ugly wink
