This is from some blog about the latest UK midweek chart:

JOSS STONE has been having a pretty good stab at ruining her pop career before she leaves her teens.

She left for America a few years ago as an innocent Devon schoolgirl — and returned a crazed Yankee diva with a dodgy red perm.

Her Brits appearance made her a national laughing stock and now it looks like her meteoric fall from grace will be complete this weekend when she fails to make the Top Ten of the album charts.

Her third album, Introducing Joss Stone, should have been called Exit Joss Stone — because British fans have shown her the door.

After a string of PR disasters the LP is at No12 in the midweek charts, and it’s being tonked by some of the, er, “giants” of music.

X Factor loser BEN MILLS, for example, has sold nearly twice as many copies with his album Picture Of You.

The talent show’s latest runner-up, RAY QUINN, is at the top of the chart, outselling Joss by almost four copies to one with his debut.

Most embarrassing for Joss is that another annoying curly redhead looks set for the Top Ten.

That’s right, SIMPLY RED’s new album Stay is stuffing Joss’s effort too.

When you lose to MICK HUCKNALL in a popularity contest you know it’s time to pack your bags.

Joss’s first album made No4 in the charts and her second was a No1 smash.

I would have tipped Ray to get this weekend’s top spot with the X Factor juggernaut behind him, but surely Joss would have expected a Top Three place at least.

The past month of her career should be bottled and sold to young music hopefuls as an example of how not to do it.

First she made a terrifying Brit Awards cameo, speaking in a ludicrous American drawl.

Then she went on CHRIS MOYLES’ Radio 1 show and alienated her hard-working fans by moaning about life as a multi-millionairess.

In another interview she admitted smoking cannabis.

Then she got booed at a London gig after keeping fans waiting for more than two hours.

Oh, and her dad and brother were booted out of the venue after her set for brawling.

Joss’s PR disasters appear to have scared off her existing fans and sent any potential new ones running for Devon.

You’ll be safe from her there.

Its funny because many of the things she is cited as doing, Justin Timberlake did and he was viewed as a "rebel" and "Visionary" which goes to show the whole double standard thing, where if your male your a rebel and if you are a female your a bitch. None of the issues mentioned are even worthy, she admitted smoking weed, so has 99% of the world, Norah Jones just said she smokes all the time in BLENDER magazine. She acted dumb at an award show, hmmm doesnt everyone lately? Her brother and father got into a fight? why is that her problem? She got booed after showing up two hours late for a gig, WHAT performer hasnt been late and gotten booed? She complained about her tough life as a star on the radio? EVERY friggin star complains about the grind of the "LIFE" . As far as chart positions, does it really matter, her new cd is more RB than ever and sorry but people dont wanna hear it from her, when they hear RB they think Timbaland not Raphael Sadiq, people dont wanna REAL RB at this point. As far as the Simply Red comment, EVERYTHING that band puts out debuts in the top 10 in every country, but this SHITTY MUSIC USA.
