British Soul Invasion

Does anyone like any of the up-and-coming Soul acts from the UK?

I heard on NPR that they are "Reviving" the soul sound, which I never realized went away. shrug

I'm speaking of course of Joss Stone, Terri Walker, James Morrison and the like.
I'm a big fan of Craig David, but he doesn't get categorized into that genre by NPR (I'm not sure why shrug ).

I haven't heard any of the other than Joss Stone, and a few stellar Terri Walker cuts, but I'm largely ignoratn of the genre to begin with and would love to expand my musical collection into incorporating some great contemporary soul acts.

lol

She looks like Paris Hilton to me. Only with dark hair, dark skin, prettier eyes, nicer eyebrows, full lips and a completely different chin and cheekbone.

Joss Stone has almost killed her career in the UK. She was always more popular in America than here, but since she's started all this psycho-babbling in a fake American accent as if she was a guest on Oprah, people have gone off her. She's just so fake.
