The singer, who bought the tiny lamé shorts she wore in the 'Spinning Around' video from a charity shop for just 50p, will be shocked to discover they were donated by call-girl madam Michele Renée.

Michele, 60, told Britain's Closer magazine: "I'm thrilled they helped Kylie's career. I'm such a fan - I absolutely love her."

The madam from London - who had the shorts made especially for her when she worked as a show girl - runs a vice-girl business called The 69 Collection under the working name of 'Dior' and hires out escorts to wealthy clients for £1,800 a night.

She said: "You've got to do what you've got to do. I don't discuss sex with the girls and I never have.

"I don't recruit anybody and the girls have just asked me to help them with escort work."
