Is there production value to the counter? So many times in so many songs by so many artists, you can clearly hear the counter. Take for example, Prince's 319, the counter is immediately noticeable. Is there a production value to leaving it in? If I'm not mistaken the counter is used to set a musical pace. But to me it just nearly always seems an unneccessary element to the songs themselves.
Is there something about the counter I am not appreciating? 2010: Healing the Wounds of the Past.... http://prince.org/msg/8/325740 | |
