'90s memories: Run DMC vs Jason Nevins / It's Like That (1997)

Run DMC vs Jason Nevins / It's Like That (1997)

The video :: http://tinyurl.com/28eg79

I remember during the time of its release, there was a second-wave of b-boying and the resurgence of breakdancing in the '90s mainstream music scene. Around '96 through '98 it seemed like everybody was making some kind of new school b-boy video KRS-One's cover of Blondie's Rapture "Step Into a World," Erick Sermon + Redman's "Rappers Delight," etc. Visually, this video spawned a lot of imitators around the time ranging from Sugar Ray's "Fly" and arguably up to BEP's "Pump It."

It was one of my favorites at the time. MTV's AMP used to play it all the time.
