Because he sucks.
It is not known why FuNkeNsteiN capitalizes his name as he does, though some speculate sunlight deficiency caused by the most pimpified white guy afro in Nordic history.

I still dig Tim but he is about as original as a 5th sip of the same soda.

That was my reaction too, but I realize that some people are very narrow-minded and will always pull the race card.

My problem with Tim is the fact that all his songs song the same. They are catchy, but once you've heard one, you've heard them all.

This album is still classic, IMO:

Can't get with Magoo-Tip. I mean, really.

I saw an article in GQ the other day that said Timbaland was striving to make hip-hop's version of The Wall. I guess some folk forgot about Nation of Millions, Blowout Comb, and Madvillainy, among many other albums that are superior to anything he's done.

That being said, he's an ultra-talented producer. I loved his work with Aaliyah, Genuwine, Missy, and Jay-Z. "One In A Million," "I'll Do Anything," "Work It," and "Dirt Off Your Shoulder" and many other songs he's made are as good any any other songs of their respective genres. He's doing good work with Nelly and Justin too, even though I might not care for some of it.

He can't compare to Gil Evans, Quincy Jones, Phil Spector, Bob Thiele, Stevie, or for that matter, Prince, when they were in their respective heydays.

He's better than his detractors give him credit for, and not as good as some of his fans give him credit for.

It is. I think everyone just needs a breath from him. This second act of Justin and Nelly fine and some of the records are good but he is a bit overexposed and Timbaland as a celebrity...not entertainer! Get back in the studio with Magoo and Missy! Also, I think I would have been more interested in Madonna being produced by Timbaland as a follow up to "Evita" (now that would have been shocking) more than "Confessions"...in other words, in the late ninties!

Forreal I want to hear Missy go (even more) pop and collaborate with Timbaland this year.

That second Bubba I don't have! I thought Timbaland had way less involvement on that second one (he didn't even do all of the first one).

I don't have either albums, but I got "Deliverance" on a Summer '03 mixed CD.
