A lot of people, who like different kinds of music, like Grace Kelly.
The call him the new Freddie Mercury(the young one imo) because of his
voice..

The same goes 4 Amy,everyone likes this song,I still got 2 get used
2 her voice...maybe ..

i listened to the amy winehouse album on the way to work this morning and i really liked it, though i am really afraid it might fall prey to GNARLS BARKLEY SYNDROME: everyone's going to catch on to it within a month or two, it's going to be featured on EVERY tv show and EVERY commercial, and by summer we'll all be completely sick of her and her album.

i think it's that good, unfortunately.

how's her other album, "Frank"?

Those jewel cases are European. They aren't seen as much here in the U.S.

The standard European version only has 10 tracks. It does not feature "Addicted", that is track 11 of the Uk release.

About the cases, since the release of Scisssor Sisters' Ta-dah (the latest albums from Goldfrapp and Depeche Mode also had those used on the limited editions), almost of all of Universal music releases have been in super jewel cases.

I just saw her perform on Letterman and she looks like she's had at least 3 sandwiches. She looks a little better.

I actually really like Frank now, my favourite tracks are 'Stronger than me', and 'Take the box', but I thought in its entirety the album didn't really flow that well, some of it seemed a little generic and other tracks seemed misplaced. If you like Amy's lyrics then it's definitely worth buying, but musically I prefer Back to Black.

I went to Amy's concert last month in Manchester (front row!) and she was incredible (especially compared to her BBC gig last week)! Believe it or not she came across as a real sweetheart, not at all as I expected, Can't wait for her to come back again smile

So I'm listening to 'Back To Black' right now--it's really good. I checked out the reviews on metacritic.com and all the reviewers selected rave about the album except for...Rolling Stone. http://www.metacritic.com...acktoblack

ok, maybe she does need to go to rehab...you don't lose weight like that from drinking, tho

i'm kind of intrigued by what i've heard so far, altho her voice sounds a little too much like a shtick to me, one that could get old fast.

The version of "You Know I'm No Good" with Ghostface Killah is getting airplay on some U.S. stations so that's why that song was included on the stateside release.

The Amy Winhouse show in NY last night was surprisingly incident-free. She walked into the venue past me and my friend while we were sitting at the bar downstairs. She’s tiny. I think her hair was bigger than she was. Great voice and great band which included a horn section and two male background soul singers.
