I can't stand Akon's wack ass. His voice is so monotone and weak to me. There was a period here in NY where I couldn't ride the subway without hearing someone playing Smack That on their iPod's and it irked the shit outta me. His music is shit too. I give him credit that it's catchy but it's sure as hell isn't any good. If this is what's representing male Soul/R&B then we are in some serious trouble.

Most annoying voice I've ever heard in my life.

A small record company I interviewed for actually paid Akon a LOT of money to sing on one crummy track for this artist they have who's carribbean. Needless to say, it definitely affected my view of the company.

Smack That is such a crap song. At least when R.Kelly was comparing women to Jeeps it at least seemed slightly clever (not a LOT, just slightly...)
