"Romantic": #1 R&B, #1 Pop
"Superwoman": #1 R&B, #8 Pop "The Way You Love Me": #1 R&B, #7 Pop "Secret Rendezvous": #6 Pop (not sure about R&B) "The Way I Feel About You": #12 Pop (not sure about R&B) "Facts Of Love": #27 Pop (This was Jeff Lorber featuring Karyn White) I got all this info from my Billboard book of Top 40 hits. Unfortunately, it only mentions the R&B songs that hit #1 for each artist. There is a separate Billboard book for R&B Top 40 hits that I would love to get one day.

I cannot wait for this. I hope they use single edits and different remixes. I love Karyn (though Terry Lewis has been quoted as calling her a gold digging bitch). The only song I don't recognize is "All I Do". Does anyone know what album this is from?

no. She did have enough hits for a greatest hits package. 2 platinum albums and several gold singles are nothing to spit at. Maybe u guys don't remember much about her. **--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••--**--••**--••-

Glad I shelled out X amount of dollars for the Japanese edition (bought it on Ebay so I don't think I paid all that much). I'm not even sure where that CD is anymore!
I just looked on Amazon and there is only one dealer selling the disc...for about $100! Maybe I should sell mine! BTW, here is the singles chart info for Karyn according to Allmusic.com http://www.allmusic.com/c...sjzzba~T51 [Edited 3/5/07 14:00pm]

Actually, Karyn White released three albums during her run -- her self-titled debut (1988), "Ritual of Love" (1991) and "Make Him Do Right" (1994). Two of those songs listed -- "All I Do" and "Disconnected" -- I do not recognize. What are the odds of those being new and/or unreleased tracks? [Edited 3/5/07 16:47pm] THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. I wish she would come back and do some new stuff, I know there was a rumor that she was working on a new album i dont know how true that is THOUGH!

I have all three of Karyn White's albums on CD, and that greatest hits package is a little different than one I would have put together. I always thought her second and third albums were hurt by some poor singles selection, so I would include those songs I enjoyed:
1.) "Facts of Love" (Jeff Lorber featuring Karyn White) 2.) "The Way You Love Me" 3.) "Superwoman" 4.) "Love Saw It" (duet with Babyface) 5.) "Secret Rendezvous" (remix version) 6.) "Romantic" (moonlight edit) 7.) "The Way I Feel about You" (feel it remix) 8.) "One Heart" 9.) "Do unto Me" 10.) "Hard to Say Goodbye" 11.) "Hungah" 12.) "Can I Stay with You" 13.) "Nobody But My Baby" 14.) "Make Him Do Right" 15.) "Romantic" (sexy mix) THE TRAFFIC JAMMERS, The Org's house band: VAINANDY -- lead singer; NAJEE -- bass; THE AUDIENCE -- guitar; PHUNKDADDY -- rhythm guitar; ALEX de PARIS -- keyboards; Da PRETTYMAN -- keyboards; FUNKENSTEIN -- drums. That was the weakest song on "Ritual of Love," and leave it to Murphy's Law for that song to be released as a single. "One Heart" or "Hard to Say Goodbye" would have been better choices to follow up "Romantic" and "The Way I Feel about You." Also the song she had with Michael Jeffries "Not Thru Being With You" on his self titled debut and the little hidden gem of a duet with Randy (Jackson) & The Gypsys the song is called"Luv Thang" I LOVE THAT SONG!
