WOW... this is really hard for me
since I love most of those FULL albums
from Lady T through Emerald City

but here are some select ones I play OFTEN

Aladdin's Lamp
Now That I Have You
Too Many Colors (Tee's Interlude)
Where's California
Revolution
Opus III (Does Anybody Care)
Playboy
Stop The World
Portugese Love
Batucada Suite
Love Me Down Easy
Sunny Skies

Out On A Limb & Aladdin's Lamp
were the 2 songs that made me
dig deeper into her music

my sis had this vinyl when I was a kid:

I just remember that album cover being FRESH TO DEF!!!
"be who you are and say what you feel
because those who mind don't matter
and those who matter don't mind."

It`s nice to see so many of you like "Cassanova Brown" .music:

"Standing room only, the concerts sold out
everyone's there for the party
the hush turns to a shout
everyone's got a piece
of the pie
of you and I
but nobody knows when the lights dim down
that the tears fall harder than the whole damn crowd"

I LOVE that part love

For many years,it was rumored that Prince had something to do with that song.I think people looked at the "2" and the "U" and thought "Prince wrote this!" lol

You're not, I had it first on my list! Stop The World is probably my all-time fave from Lady T overall. thumbs up!

I can't believe I left off Behind The Groove, though...undeniably funky.

Look at the cover of "Robbery" where a brother is handing her a phone number on a piece of paper. Look at the number. It's "777-93".

I just looked... I never really paid attention LOL
I see 777-9... didn't see the 3...

all I ever paid attention to
was the street signs (Rhythm & Blues)
her nose-ring and that mesh top
"be who you are and say what you feel
because those who mind don't matter
and those who matter don't mind."
