Anyone still rocking U.T.F.O and Whodini? I was listening to U.T.F.O's first cd this morning and this weekend. That shit is classic. Hot beats and fresh rhymes. Word! Anyone else dig them? I love me some beats and rhymes, roxanne roxanne, roxanne's revenge and Lisa lips!

My fave UTFO song is "Ya Cold Wanna Be With Me." The video is great.
Whodini always has a spot with me. Especially the Back in Black album.

The LA Dream Team also sang on two slow jams.....a remake of "Stop To Start" and "Lisa For Love", which was a tribute to a member of their group named Lisa who had recently died. If I'm not mistaken, I think Kurtis Blow sang on a track years earlier. I could be mistaken but I really think he did. As for all these today trying to be too hard, if they have to put on an act, they ain't shit to begin with. If they would be their damn selves, they might find out that they actually do have some talent but have been too damn ignorant to show it. Andy is a four letter word.

Exactly. Also, the best hits of Whodini were very danceable. And UTFO had a sense of humor & didn't take themselves too seriously.

Remember they started out as Whodini's back up dancers(they were in the "Escape" video) then went out on their own. They were a multi talented group of brothaz.

Rappers from way back who could sing were cool BUT ....don´t forget , always keep in mind that
The rappers problems stem from being tone deaf Pack the house Tryin´ 2 sing there won´t be no one left . Prince 1987, Dead On It. No seriously, I always loved those groups mentioned above, even when UTFO did that diss track against Prince... " I´d rather be a stank ass hoe because I´m not stupid. Oh my goodness! I got more drugs! I´m always funny dude...I´m hilarious! Are we gonna smoke?"

I let my daughter listen to it from time to time and she just enjoys the words and says to me I didn't know that there were other things that could be talked about in rap and I told her yeah, there is plenty nipsy

Whodini had some dope songs too like one love, funky beat, i'm a ho, the freaks come out at night, big mouth and friends. i used to think Ectasy was cute! guys in the summer i want to buy a boom box and play me some U.T.F.O. while strutting my stuff on the streets. would i look completely nuts?
