goodbye internet radio?

Very sad news for those of us who do internet radio. Basically the Board that controls royalty rates for online broadcasters on Friday March 2, 2007 raised the rates so high that it will be impossible for most broadcasters to continue.

www.savenetradio.org has details about the decision, including a breakdown of the rates.

What it means for me is that I'll no longer be able to broadcast my net radio, after all the time, effort and money put into it. Very disappointing. sad
