I love the Take Two duet album with Kim Weston.....WOw what a voice this woman possessed pure SOUL. Now dont get me wrong i love some duets he did with Tammi Terrell and Mary Wells and Oma Page & Ms Ross.....But by far KIM WESTON is my fav.

Definitely Tammi Terrell, man! Tammi was Marvin's true heart and soul and when she died, that is when Marvin lost his mind. She was part of the reason he did the extraordinary What's Going On record. The songs they sung together can never be replaced because their voices is what lifted them to another dimension.

God rest her soul. Her free wild spirit intimidated Marvin. When David Ritz asked him if there was a relationship, Marvin laugh and said "It would never work. Tammi is a tough cookie and I'm a chauvinist who loves to be catered by his women". But she had it rough with David Ruffin and James Brown.

I love all of Marvin's duet partners. They were all talented... and it didn't hurt that Marvin can make anyone sound good. Still, I have to go with the obvious: Tammi Terrell. They are my all-time favorite duet partners -- even above Ella & Louis.
