 I'm probably the only person that just don't feel her rendition of this song.. I guess because Jennifer Holiday set the bar so high. Some songs are just best.. left alone.  National Funk League✮✮ | |

No, I feel the same way. I like JHud and I don‛t know of anyone else who should dare take this song on but when I hear JHolliday‛s version I get chills and sometimes even a little misty.
JHud does a good job though as that‛s no easy song by any means. Been gone for a minute, now I'm back with the jump off | |

As much as I loved Hudson's version (in the movie) she needs not sing the song ever again. She runs the risk of pigonholing herself as the lady that sings *that* song...(kinda like Holiday did)... Space for sale... | |
