yeah, i think that might have been it. do you know any of his other songs? are they all more or less like that? that track i heard was badass! Nursey and TA gave up the goods! Yeah,it was "I'm Freaky",a big hit for him back in early 1983.That song is so fast!...today's kids wouldn't know how to keep up with a groove like that.They're used to midtempo,smoothed-out hip-hop/R&B

Titties jigglin’ and asses wigglin’-- O'Bryan knew “what the funk was up” and was ahead of his time making this video for "Lovelite." The girls in the video are so fine and really knocked me out! I felt like I was back in high school. Lovelite is one of the funkiest songs I've ever heard and puts me in a good mood whenever I hear it. O'Bryan-one of my favorite obscure funkateers from back in the day (but then again what funkateer isn't obsure? know what I'm sayin'? It's part of what makes them funky). man, i guess because i was so young in the 80's i missed out on people like o'bryan, andre cymone and bobby nunn so i'm finding out about them now. i saw his GH cd the other day. i think i'll pick it up! | |
