I figured some of you would want to know about this. Mele Mel has released his first ever solo album after 30 years in the business! Hard to believe huh? Well I bought his cd and let's just say I am really dissapointed in him. Seems like he gave into the crap that's out there today. No more cool songs like The Message, it's all about chicks and cars, etc. The album is called Muscles. Anyone else got this yet? What are your thoughts?

Melle Mel has always rapped a lot about cars and women and his muscles, this is nothing shocking...what is shocking is that he became part of the Sugarhill Gang not too long ago...a group of fake posers who lipsynched to Melle Mel´s records together with Grandmaster Flash some years ago...sad.

Anyway, Melle Mel did a track called Cars together with Ice-T in 1986 under the Zulu Kings moniker....I will definitely check this new CD out, thanx for the info.

Melle Mel was touring with Samantha Fox in 2006. That tour sounded way more interesting than a new CD.
