NINE INCH NAILS - Beside You In Time - DVD It's out today - here's a review! "'Beside You in Time' is simply a must for any Nine Inch Nails fan - it's a great document of a great tour, and proves that just when some may think they can write off Trent Reznor as a relic of the past, he comes back and kicks everyone's ass. This is also such a strong HD DVD release that it is worth checking out even if you don't like Reznor's music. It is a terrific demo disc, with first-rate picture and sound, and a nice assortment of bonus features. Without a doubt, this is the best music performance yet released on HD DVD." I worked on this project in post prod. - it's truly a great concert DVD. VOTE....EARLY

Really glad 'WithA TeethAAA' is on there too, as I really enjoyed that on that tour, the live version made me appreciate the album version even more.
Highlights for me though are 'Eraser' - it kicks my ass on this DVD - it's nothing short of incendiary, and 'Right Where it Belongs' - one of my favourite ever NIN songs for very personal reasons close to my heart. It wasn't performed on the 1st leg of the tour, so never got to hear it live, so seeing that included on the DVD was a treat in of itself. The visuals made for real lump-in-the-throat viewing. Aaron North cracks me the fuck up, he's nuts. I remember when I saw them last they had to stop the show for 5 minutes whilst the roadies set Jerome Dillons drumkit back up after North quite literally (and with some abandon) launched both himself and his guitar headfirst into the bloody thing. Aaron is amazing! I saw them 3 times 2005-2006 and the last was the best - summer 2006 - where they performed other songs what is included on the DVD as added value material. The rehearsals were fun also. VOTE....EARLY
