I'm a fan of both men, so this would awesome to see! Johnny is very rock and roll. (At least he was in the late 80's, when I became a fan.)

And importantly he can do an English accent - I can't tell the difference

body language and presence. Also Freddie's speach was very uncanny.

Nobody could do Freddie justice, least of all Johhny. In fact I think this is so unnecessary, I hate how Hollywood will have one successful idea and beat it to death in every conceivable way til nobody can remember what they liked about the film that started the trend. Currently it's these unfaithful lame comic book adaptions and it looks like they're trying to do it to biopics of music figures now.

I'm interested in this idea 4 2 reasons:

1: because Mr. Depp is vain and ambitious. To his credit I don't think he's ever fallen flat on his face.
