It's vastly superior than 90% of the songs of "Like A Virgin"

OK...so you think that Like a VIrgin is the worst dreck on the planet. Yet you think Jimmy Jimmy, one of the worst songs in her catalog is a great song? I mean it's got kitsch value, but it's really a horrendous song.

why do fools fall in love shoop shoop she bop a bop? confused

You just don't understand the pop genius of Madonna singing a song over and over about deciding not to live anymore with a guy who pretends to have lots of material things yet tries to dress her up like a virgin angel and wants her to stay so he can pop her shoo be doo!

Seriously, it's better than the 2 surrounding it. The first one, while great was a little similar to what was coming out at the time. And the lyrics weren't all that. The thrid one had a few really good songs on it Live to tell, Papa Don't Preach and La Isla Bonita. The rest is pretty forgettable.

But while it is not my favorite album by far, it stands out as being really original in music and lyrical content. From the bounce start of Material Girl, it jumps to Angel (THATS her most under rated single IMO) an then gets to the iconic (but played out Like a virgin). It also features one of her strongest cuts, Love don't live here anymore. Even the non-singles almost outshine the songs that were singles. Not to mention the great cover image and her "Erotic City" - "Into the Groove" which emerged during the promotion of that album.

So why do you think I have bought all of Madonna's albums and compilations since I was kid?
