Najee,

You and I have many common favorites. We could be brothers biggrin

I remember exactly where I was, the first time I heard When Doves Cry. ...She's Strange was a Cameo all-time fave - and then they came with Room 123! Egyptian Lover absoulutely was a west coast underground mover that made me want to buy a drum machine.

Encore! (Cheryl Lynn) is such a GREAT R&B song. The way it builds at the end is dope. Is that a real bass or a keyboard or both?

Really - the only song i don't like on your list is the Bar-Kays song. I'm not wild about Reebie Jackson either. But Tell Me (SoS), You are My Melody (Change) - all that stuff is classic to me. It brings me back.
We all want the stuff that's found in our wildest dreams.

It is about as outrageous as they come. That someone would even think of the ill rhymes hit spits says something about the poor state of American youth living in poverty.

The thing is - I kept listening to it. I was like - 'did he just say what I thought he said?'

I'm robbin' bitches too
Up the herring bones and bamboo
I wouldn't give a fuck
If you're pregnant
Gimme the baby ring
And the #1 Mom pendant.
