Lets not be sure,,,,he recruited Madonna as a sex phone operator shrug lol

Considering how crazy his ideas can be, he could def squeeze Miss Janet somewhere between his madness.

lol Well true, but it was such a minimal role though.

Spike can put Janet in a film with Wesley Snipes (love scene included!). I would pay good money to see this film. cool

No. And BTW, I'm straight! But nice try though.wink

I have a great faith in seeing Janet giving dark-skin brothas a fair chance in a love scene. And no. the kissing scene with 2pac doesn't count, IMO.
lol

EDIT: As a comic book reader, I miss seeing Wesley as the title character Blade. cool

It ain't the 1st time I heard this shrug lol

I personaly love the movie. Spike knows how to create an organized madhouse scene,,,its part of the movie's appeal.

Speaking of Mr.Lee, what you think about Bamboozled?

Let put it this way: Spike was right!

Eventhough the movie is fictional, Bamboozled is the perfect film that describes everything that is dead wrong about the entertainment industry & the media today. So far, this is one of Spike's best films ever as far as I'm concern.

wow, i think you've just named his worst 2 movies.

ironically, i think that Girl 6 is WORSE for it's all-Prince soundtrack. some of the scenes seem to be there for no other reason than to build them around a song. other times, it seems the inclusion of a song at all is out of place. plus, i think he tried to cram every one he liked in there. that movie could've been salvaged with a different cut, and a less-is-more approach to the soundtrack.

I mean, it just didn't reel me in, ya know? It was cool but not what I would expect from a Spike flick.

Crooklyn is a very underrated family film. I'm so disappointed it didn't do well at the box office like it should have.

I hear you,,,,I can expect that anyway. A typical Spike movie has a variety of mixed opinions about it.

I personaly didn't like "School Daze" @ 1st,,,,but now, I really dig its groove.

Yeah, I was young when School Daze dropped so I didn't appreciate it back then but now I do. Just seeing Samuel L. Jackson in a Jheri Curl was enough for me. lol

I think the reason it didn't do well was because he had done so many controversial films up to that point, that when Crooklyn dropped, people were like "Where's the race riot and the interracial love affair?!?!"

the only time i think that a movie is really bad is when it's a chore to sit through it and i don't care where it's going or what happens to the characters.

that was the case for me with Bamboozled. which is unfortunated, because it sounded interesting, and i'd heard good things about it.

I tell you what Spike movie I didn't care much about: Mo' Better Bluse.

With that impressive line-up,,,the story wasn't that much to be. He was trying to outdo Clint Eastwood when he did "Bird" but cat daddy somehow didn't pull it IMO.

Namepeace has a different take on the movie than I, though.
