I sent a similiar letter to MJ. Hand delivered. It was basically just advising him not to get involved with will.i.am and any other "flavour-of-the-month" who wants to work with him. I begged him to listen to Off The Wall again and I told him flat out that Invicible was a dissapointment because he let the current crop of hip-hop producers take what I imagine started off as decent songs and shitted all over them. After Rodney Jerkins did his thing with the album, he had removed all traces of MJ, and the end result was a lifeless, stale, dated piece of plastic. I felt that a little harsh do I added in brackets (but Break of Dawn and Whatever Happens are great songs). I pretty much told him he created the current music scene, so he shouldn't feel like he needs to adjust to fit it, because no matter what he does the music industry will adjust to fit Michael, as has been since the 80s. I told him his biggest hits were the fun, energetic, creative, organic, soulful songs like Don't Stop Til You Get Enough, Rock With You and Billie Jean. I said Michael is known to be a great dancer, and that's why people love MJ songs that make them want to dance. And what makes people want to fance is the organic, lively, soulful, funky shit like Off The Wall, Don't Stop, Working D and N, WBSS. That's about all I said. I am really longing for a great MJ record, so I hope he wises up. I don't know if he'll read my letter. Apparently he has a good track record of reading fan mail. But even if he reads it, doesn't mean he'll take notice.

Oh BTW, I hate the hate of the LAV album amongst Madonna fans. I see it everywhere and always at the bottom of their album rankings. It's a perfectly wonderful little pop album.

I even like Shoo Be Doo and I looove Stay. Pretender is the only track I think is below the standard of the rest of the album.
