i love that they play a loop of a song that makes fun of "emo" kids. but someone needs to tell these country bumpkins that emo is not a lifestyle...at all, cutting yourself or otherwise. its just music style that's a step away from pop and not quite punk. lol its so funny that news is trying to create a worry for parents in order to boost ratings.

come on, don't we have real things to report about. i mean surely someone was out cow tipping the other night.

I asked my little brother if he had a Myspace page and he's like nah.

I'm all "Why not?"

He said "Myspace is for emos." smile

Jesus Christ... Is there anything American Media won't try and make you afraid of? Exploring your dark side is a natural part of adolesence. I doubt any kids are seriously hurting or killing themselves purely for the sake of "fashion". This is an age old problem... that isn't really a problem. Kids trying to shock their peers, parents and society, the biggest mistake anyone can make is to buy into it and pay it attention.

Anyway when did Goth become emo, I can't see too much of a different other than it's more punk than Goth.
