I thought The Temptation was abit biased toward Otis Williams' favor and against David Ruffin's,,,then again, the whole thing was from Otis side of story.

I don't trust that man anyway,,,,there're many allegations against him being an asshole toward his band members.

I love it. I recorded it off of VH1 years ago onto a VHS tape. I wish they would play the movie again because I just bought a DVD recorder last week and would like to re-record it onto DVD. I would record from the VHS tape but it was recorded with a mono VCR and I want my DVD to be in stereo.

Any other time, they would be playing the movie four times a week but if you ever want them to play it.....hell no, they are busy playing shows like "I Love New York" with that ghetto bitch that looks just like Lamb Chop.....

They should've included Katherine going to Joseph's office and beating up his mistress like she stole something.

nod but i liked the Temptations miniseries better than "The Jacksons" though. I've seen this Jacksons movie so many damn times it makes me barf Besides when Kathryn catches Joe on the phone trying to mack to his mistress:

Kathryn: I heard her!!! I hearrrdddd hheerrrrr!!!! She been in our home! IN OUR BED!!!!.....and I don't want u no mo'!!!!

falloff that was my favorite part of the movie! Other than that and when Michael fell down those flight of steps when his hair caught on fire during the Pepsi commercial....okay it wasn't nice, but it was funny confused "on my hair, it hurts, oh...."

oh but back on the Tempts...yeah, I read the book that the miniseries was based on and yeah it's all from Otis' point of view. I sensed that he was an asshole too.
I will forever love and miss you...my sweet Prince.

falloff I remember that thread here when the movie first came out. Someone needs to post those screencaps from the movie again.

they wrong for how they fucked flex up for the white years

I love Flex on "One on One" and while I thought he did the best he could, he totally made the movie worth watching, even though over all it was campy as hell. (He was the one good thing about the movie, and I give him an 8/10 as far as being Michael. His dancing was great. He has some of the mannerisms down. The only thing was, he was so tall. Michael isn't THAT tall. It was noticeable. However, like I said, Flex was still the best part of this movie.

MY FAVORITE ROLE THAT I HAVE EVER SEEN ANGELA BASSETT PLAY!

As for the content, the storyline is quite true, and doesn't gloss over the rough stuff. It is quite centered on Michael Jackson though.

If they made a sequel...it would be really quite sad.. As much as I'd love a follow up..it would be sad to watch.

Michael's career never quite reaching that Thriller peek sales-wise again.
Joe and Kat getting a divorce and not living together anymore.
Janet's SuperBowl goof.
Jermaine/Michael's trouble over "Word to the Bad"
Michael "leaving" The Jacksons
2300 Jacket Street flooping
The disaster of a show "Jackson Family Honors." Yeah, Michael was in tip top shape on the show, but he really didn't wanna be there.
Living with Michael Jackson
Michael's 93 and 2003 crap.
Janet's albums - DJ & 20 Y.0. not doing as well as hoped

The only real happy moment in the sequel would have probably been, Michael's 30th MSG Show. However, the day after the last concert was 9/11/2001. Not exactly a great way to end a movie. sad

I think they strongly messed up the last part of the miniseries, they completely ignored the off the wall era, and didn't develop the Thriller era... confused

Also the last Randy jackson looked too old, he looked older than Michael Jackson, and where were the jackson sisters ???
