I think the story is that somebody wrote it for him, but MJ didn't finish recording or something and the person who wrote it recorded it themselves. There is a 30 second clip of MJ singing the song floating around the net. | |

It was originally written by Paul Anka, MJ and Kathy Wakefield for Jonny Mathis. | |

ETA: Oh and I also had tickets to MJs One Night Only and we all know what happened to that. [Edited 2/26/07 10:57am] The Only night only performance could have been one of his best ever. I so wish it would have taken place. I saw only short clips from the rehearsal and it looked so totally different from what Mj always does. I am sure it would have been unforgetable moment.
