you're title made it seem like it was going to happen. but it is inevitable. she's gotten every award under the sun but why not. she's made a huge impact in the music world whether people want to admit it or not.

Madonna & Janet probably had the most solid "pop" careers, if we are talking dance acts.

Janet had from 1986 - 1998 of a top soild career, where every album was getting better and just grew. Even since 1998 her albums have been solid, just not ground breaking.

But in her day, no one was better at that style of pop.
