looking for a "record store" in NYC that sells cassettes. Must be some that still sell them in one of those bargain basement stores

I usually get mine from Walmart! Do you have have one out there?

walmart has old cassettes? theyll sell anything

theres a few out it jersey

you'd have to go to a good record store to find some cassettes...blanks u can still find almost anywhere (radio shack, walmart, dollar stores)
but if u want actual albums on cassette your best bet is the internet if u can't find a good enough record store..

its a waste to get them online and pay more in postage than actual tape

Try the fleamarkets. Most of the 26th st ones have closed but the one outdoor one (on the east side of 6th ave) and the one on the upper west side often have a music guy who has some cassettes as well as used CDs. or try thrift stores like goodwill.
