Guns N Roses album not ready yet
Axl's release is pushed back yet again

The release date for the new Guns N Roses album 'Chinese Democracy' has been pushed back yet again.

Despite announcing March 6 as the release date, the band have are now saying the album is not running on schedule and they have no official date set for its release.

A post on the band's official site said: "After some delays and scheduling difficulties, things appear to be moving along."

The message said the album is recorded and is currently in the mixing stages.

The LP will be the first release from the band since 1993's covers album 'The Spaghetti Incident?', although the only original member remaining is frontman Axl Rose.

The band are set to play shows in South Africa in April and May.

frankly i think the delayed (alleged) my bloody valentine album is a bigger shame.

i love gn'r though. but theyll never reclaim the glory days.

at least we have izzy's awesome solo albums to listen to.

This album is a complete joke. Does he intend to never release one after this either? That's the only reason I could think of for waiting so long. Like it has to be his ultimate statement. Plus why even call it Guns 'n' Roses? Velvet Revolver is actually more GnR than GnR.

Funny thing is, their first album is their best, and it was probably recorded the fastest.

how long does it take to mix an album? holy shit. what a joke... and it better be good, or people are going to go: 10 years for THIS?!?!

and it won't be good... cuz no matter how good it is, it won't live up the expectations caused by all these delays.

they should just scrap it all and start over on a new album

last week one song ('Better'?) leaked.....it sounded like typical GnR.....which means it pulls us back into last century.....

if the album will ever be released, GnR will probably have this year's most ridiculous comeback.....that nobody's waiting for!

the song that they are starting to play on the radio "better" is great so much better than that horrible NIN mess "survivalism"
