Any Enigma fans here ?

I have their first cd and have been listening to it a lot lately. I just love 'callus went away''. Can anyone recommend any of their other cds ? Is their boxed set worth buying ? thanks smile

I used to like their first album but it all seems like a gimmick to me now.

I would have to agree with RipHer2Shreds.
By their 3rd album it had become too monotonous for me.
I've only held onto the 1st cd.
Tracks like,"Mea Culpa"
"b.Find Love",
&"c.The Rivers Of Belief",keep me listening.
my phone is heavy

Absolutely adore 'The Screen Behind The Mirror' - I think it's their best work.

Their/His most recent album, A Posteriori is fantastic and a real return to form. It goes back to basics, á la Mcmxc Ad, but with a much more futuristic sound. It takes many, many listens before it really gets under your skin, but once it's there... And it's a darn site better than Voyageur, which went way to much into bog-standard Europop for my liking.

I love them...It's almost on my genetic code.

Their best album is "Le Roi est mort...vive le roi"

TNT for the brain...literally cool

I really like some of their songs. The Principles of lust is the best.
"When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

somedays yes, somedays no.. enigma can be heavyhanded as well as beautiful, also cretu needs to mix it up, vary his samples, get more vocalists in.. etc
but i have all the albums
