WP is clearly the greatest mag out there on music. The Stepney articles are very informative and the remebrance of JB is crucial. Also dug the nods to Afrika Bambatta and Planet Rock. I just got informed on Terry Callier, Pazant Bros and Gene Barge and freaked over the fresh pics of Minnie Riperton and the write-ups on her and Rotary Connection.
Didn't know the black chick on SNL-- Maya Rudolph -- is Minnie's daughter (her father is Richard Rudolph who was Minnie's manager). There are baby pics of her. test | |
