No, Joseph! [throws shoe and runs] "Whitney was purely and simply one of a kind." ~ Clive Davis

I'd also like to pose the following question to the MJ fans on the org: How would you feel about Prince producing some tracks for Michael's new album? (I know it probably would not ever happen, but I was just curious.) 1. I'm a concern fan of The Jackson Family in general. 2. Prince producing tracks for Michael? Oh hell, I gave up on that dream a long time ago. But I WILL say this much: I can see Michael doing a cover of Starfish & Coffee! [Edited 2/21/07 20:12pm]

I would like Prince to play the guitar and make funky background music and Mike to sing. I think MJ is better at making funky music than Prince. Prince wishes he could do something like "Don't Stop Til You Get Enough". Funk isn't Prince's greatest strength IMO. He should focus more on rock, because his best songs are rock IMO. On the other hand, Michael's best songs are more toward to funky edge of R&B and pop (Don't Stop, Sunset Driver, WBSS, Shake Your Body, Get on the Floor). [Edited 2/21/07 1:27am] For me, Prince is better at funk or has much more funky songs. Now, My name is Prince and other songs are just pure funk. I would love to see their collaboration as something like Whatever happens. Mike signing, Prince playing guitar. "When Michael Jackson is just singing and dancing, you just think this is an astonishing talent. And he has had this astounding talent all his life, but we want him to be floored as well. We really don´t like the idea that he could have it all."

During MJ most productive and profilic period; 1978 and 1982, MJ was incredibly funky and soulful, then from Bad onwards he went pure Pop. I can't see him returning to the funk of his former years at nearly 50, with or without a callorboration with someone like Prince.
