Lynden David Hall - if only he had lived longer

I suddenly thought about Lynden last night so i went on a little search for him online. His wife (I guess) has set up a Myspace account based around a live album that she's planning to release.

I really wished he was still around. he was one real special musician. I believe he would have been an elder staesman of British soul music and a rival to someone like D'Angelo. The American Soul community would have viewed him as royalty.
I saw him for my birthday once at the Jazz Cafe in London. he was amazing. he played Prince's Forever In My Life and John Lennon's Jealous Guy. it was a stunning and soulful performance that I'll never forget.

I miss his music a lot.

lol Welcome to Music: Non-Prince.
I've raised this issue before (http://www.prince.org/msg/3/202263) in a rather tongue-in-cheek manner.
But hell, it's just a message board so roll with it.

Anyway, Lynden David Hall sounds like he's got traces of Al Green in him at times.
