lol Since two people asked, I figure I should cure my laziness and look it up myself. It's from 1988.

Yeah, I remember hearing that all the time on our school bus. Haven't heard it for years - I may have to download it...

Yeah I remember the whole album was pretty good. Really catchy music, rock/soul. I haven't heard this since it came out. I can't believe it was almost 20 years ago!

Were any of his later albums good?

I still have this album on vinyl--as well as the "Cuddly Toy", "Find Me Another Love" and "Family Man" 12" singles. I used to track down all the related singles for albums I bought back then.

Like sextonseven, i've got the vinyl version of the album.
From what I can remember, there were other good tunes on the record.
Don't have any of his other albums.

I heard the song while getting ready for work the other day and thought, "What a cool tune."

It is a cool tune. It's very 80's sounding production-wise but it really brings to mind a different era. The soul & rock blend was kind of more 60's than 80's.

I don't care for Mousse T. razz.
He did a single with him last year, which was the first thing I heard of him since like forever. I wouldn't have attended that concert mainly because of Roachford, but because of other artists who were playing that festival. But it would have beeen nice to see him as well.
So did you guys see him then?
