Im Liking the new Joss Stone

Not that i didnt think i would, and i know people dont dig her here, they think she is soul-less and has no identity. But i just hope the people that feel that way dont praise Corrine Bailey and Robin Thicke as if they are the second coming, because i dont see anything with them. But its all opinion. Of course im guessing alot people will jump on her new cd, one, because she changed her look somewhat, two, she fired alot of people around her, and three, this time around she is working with Raphael Sadiq,Common and Lauryn Hill, so im sure the people who dont like her will suddenly listen to her now. The album hits stores March 20th, theres not too much hype surrounding it, Joss has done a few surprise gigs in NYC, and La at small venues and so far the response to the new music has been very positive.

Did anyone see her on the Brit awards ? She made a complete tit of herself, acting as if she was a "sista from da hood" rather than a middle class English girl from rural Devon which she...er...is.

You can watch it here but be warned; it's very embarassing indeed -

Seriously, I have a couple of questions:

1) Who's the guy introducing her?
2) Just how much weight has she lost the past 12 months or so?
3) What exactly is Robbie Williams going through? Didn't get that reference?
4) What's up with that hairdo? confuse

I think maybe Americans like her more than Brits as she seems to have had more exposure over there.. I heard the song a couple of time and it isn't doing it for me, she sounds like she is capable of so much more, but seems to do really lame stuff

Well i think people forget she is still a teen-ager and still has to find her way and grow as an artist, I think people think from day one it all happens. The review on Joss Stone has always been shes good but could do better, well then that would be the blame on who they give her to work with, this time its Raphael Sadiq, in the past it was Mr.Dozier. The funny thing is i have heard nothing but praise for others like Corrine Bailey and Robin Thicke as if they were the greatest things ever, but im hearing something different.

I saw her perform on Soundstage, I think that was the show. Her live version of "Fell in Love With a Boy" was pretty nice.....mainly the band. The band was really on point. I'm not really a fan of hers though.....but I don't hate her. I just never thought about checking her whole albums out. I do like her better with red hair. That color is gorgeous.
